Watching the local weather the other night, I heard the meteorologist use the phrase “vapor and flow.” It struck me immediately as a beautiful phrase, one that I wanted to use for something. Metaphorically, it encompasses our human experience. Everything, at the macro level, is ephemeral; everything, at the molecular level, is motion. Hence this blog, where I can range widely, without constraint, in a fleeting, intangible, but very real way.
