And this is a copy of “The Blue Fox” (1911), by Franz Marc. Here’s another fabulous work by Marc: “Stables.” It’s at the Guggenheim in New York. I can’t even imagine how one goes about painting something so complex and gorgeous.

VAPOR AND FLOW 
Great tribute to one of the greatest wildlife artists ever. Shame he died so young I would have loved to see what he went on to create. Agree with Stables, I have looked at that piece time and time again, as a painter myself, and can barely de-construct it! Simply beautiful.
